About Alexandra Caldwell, M.D.
Dr. Alexandra Caldwell is an OB/GYN physician dedicated to providing compassionate, comprehensive care for women through every stage of life. She is passionate about building strong relationships with her patients and empowering women to feel informed and confident in their healthcare decisions.
Originally from North Carolina, Dr. Caldwell was born in Charlotte and raised in Kannapolis. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from East Carolina University and spent three years teaching science at R.J. Reynolds High School before pursuing a career in medicine.
Dr. Caldwell earned her medical degree from Morehouse School of Medicine, where she also completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
As an obstetrician and gynecologist, Dr. Caldwell provides care across a wide range of women’s health needs, including routine gynecologic care, preventive women’s health, family planning, menstrual concerns, and pelvic health. Her areas of special interest include abnormal uterine bleeding, family planning, and pelvic pain.
Dr. Caldwell believes in listening to her patients, understanding their individual goals and concerns, and working together to develop personalized treatment plans.
Outside of the office, Dr. Caldwell enjoys working out, spending time with family and friends, discovering new coffee shops and restaurants, watching true crime documentaries, and baking. She is also a proud dog mom to Miko.
